Property Tax Proration
In Iowa, the seller often prepays property taxes. The buyer reimburses the seller for their share of the year. This is your portion of that reimbursement.

Title Search & Insurance Fees

Recording Fees
The county charges a fee to officially record the new deed. This puts your ownership on public record.
