James has been practicing law since 2007 and is a member of the Wisconsin Bar as well as the Eastern and Western Federal Districts of Wisconsin. He focuses on criminal defense, municipal violations, and family law matters.
James has rigorously defended hundreds of adults and juveniles faced with criminal misdemeanor and felony charges during his career and always fights for the best possible resolution. He is experienced in probation revocation proceedings, mental commitments, guardianships, and child support matters as well.
James is originally from Milwaukee, WI and attended UW Madison for his undergraduate studies. He earned his law degree from Hamline University in St. Paul, Minnesota.
He enjoys running, cooking, barbecuing, reading fiction, DIY woodworking projects and getting outside to adventure with his wife and two boys.
