Bona has been practicing law for a total of eight years. She has spent the past three years in a mortgaging firm as the in-house Bankruptcy Counsel handling complex bankruptcy and foreclosure matters. Prior to that, she had worked in the real estate industry handling both commercial and residential real estate deals from inception to close - drafting and reviewing legal documents at every step of the process for transactions that ranged from a few hundred thousand dollars to multi-million deals. Bona also has experience in family law, criminal law, immigration, business transactions and immigration.
She graduated from the John Marshall Law School and completed her undergraduate degree at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign where she graduated in three years with two majors, political science and psychology. Bona is originally from Albania and speaks Albanian fluently and is a mom to three little boys.
