Janice grew up in and around Chicago but has spent the last few decades in rural Iowa. After law school, she was a legal aid attorney in Appalachia. Most of Janice's legal work has been providing services to the most vulnerable people in society, such as children and families in the child welfare system, low-income people, people in the LGBTQ+ community, people with disabilities, and non-profit organizations.
Janice enjoys research, writing, and helping people find solutions to their problems. She enjoys spending time with her children, grandchildren, rescue dogs, and making art out of recycled materials.
What to Expect From a Consultation
The purpose of a consultation is to determine whether our firm is a good fit for your legal needs. Although we often discuss expected results and costs, our attorneys do not give legal advice unless and until you choose to retain us.
