Amanda started practicing law to help people like you. After being on both of the lawyer-client equation, she believes all clients deserve compassion, aggressive advocacy and prompt communication. Amanda was licensed in Illinois and Iowa state courts in 2008, and she has been practicing ever since. She's handled about a thousand cases, so far and enthusiastically continues to take on more.
Amanda has handled all varieties of parenting rights and family law cases, from Dissolution of Marriage, to Establishment of Paternity, Minor Guardianship, Adoption, Termination of Parental Rights, and Juvenile work where either DCFS or DHS (in Iowa) gets involved. She also handles estate planning and probate cases in both Illinois and Iowa, along with criminal defense, traffic defense, and bankruptcy in Illinois. Amanda has taken about 3 to 12 cases to trial every year since 2011. Prior to working as an attorney, Amanda was a radio and television news broadcaster for six years. She worked at WROK in Rockford, WKRS in Waukegan, WHO Radio in Des Moines, and KTVO-TV in Ottumwa, Iowa.

What to Expect From a Consultation
The purpose of a free consultation is to determine whether our firm is a good fit for your legal needs. Although we often discuss expected results and costs, our attorneys do not give legal advice unless and until you choose to retain us. Although most consultations are complimentary, some may carry a charge depending on the type of matter and meeting location.
